The B-52’s look like fresh faced kids coming straight from the garage and sound like riot grrrl – fagatronic sensations. The performance happened in 1978 prior to the release of their iconic, self-titled yellow disc:
30 years later….
Next month, The B-52’s will keep the party going by releasing their first studio album in 15 years, appropriately titled, Funplex. Regarding the new disc, Fred Schneider claims the music contains more “sexed up” electronica and is “sexier than ever”. The single for this album (also called Funplex) is now available for download TODAY on I-Tunes.
